Helpful Landscape Photography Advice and Tips

Landscape photography can be tricky, complex, and frustrating, but it can also be tremendously rewarding. If you'd like to improve your own work, check out this excellent video interview that offers a lot of insightful advice sure to help you on your way.

Coming to you from Serge Ramelli Photography with Jabi Sanz, this fantastic video interview offers a wide range of landscape photography advice and tips. If I had to give a newer landscape photographer a general piece of advice, it would simply be to practice patience and to not be discouraged. Landscape photography is a genre that often takes significant logistical commitments: getting up very early, hiking for many miles, waiting for just the right light, etc. And despite all that, there is no guarantee the conditions will cooperate and you'll come home with the photos you want. Be willing to stay flexible and stay committed, and you'll be rewarded eventually. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Ramelli and Sanz.
